Therapist Luciana

Therapist Luciana Maffei graduated in Speech Therapy in 1993 at the University of Sagrado Coração, in Brazil.

Later, in 2002, her Speech Therapy degree was recognized by the Portuguese Ministry of Health.

Throughout her professional career, Therapist Luciana pursued several different courses and trainings in order to increase her knowledge in the area. She regularly attends courses related with Speech Therapist.

At Previdente Dental Clinics she is responsible for prevention, assessment and intervention, acting together with Pediatric Orthodontics, in cases of myofunctional disorders in speech, swallowing, chewing and breathing.

Advanced Training: Human Communication Disorders (Federal University of São Paulo – Brazil) and Oral-Motor Therapeutic Intervention.
