DENTAL IMPLANTS
Implantology (dental Implants) has transformed the world of dentistry and is currently a widespread solution among all specialists.
Dental Implants are changing the way people live! They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.
Dental Implants are tiny titanium posts (screw shape) that are surgically placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. These metal anchors that act as tooth root substitutes are available in different sizes and diameters.

THE CLINICAL PROCEDURES
During consultation visits, our dentists will address your specific needs and considerations. Your questions and concerns are important to us and our team will work with you very closely to help make your procedure a success.
For most patients, dental implants require a simple, minimally-invasive surgical procedure. First, implants are gently placed within the patient jawbone, afterward the patient receives the temporary prosthesis, usually within a period of seventy-two hours’ post-surgery. The period required for your own bone to heal onto the implant surface, can be between 3 – 6 months, depending upon factors such as the anatomical bone features. If sinus lift or artificial bone replacement is necessary may be more healing time.
Dental implants are the best option for people of all ages in good general oral health who have lost a tooth or teeth due to an accident, gum disease, an injury, or some other reason. There are some health conditions that that may affect the success of the treatment – certain chronic diseases (diabetic, degenerative bone disease), heavy smoking, or alcohol abuse. It should also be taken into account the general health history, such as the general state of the teeth, gingival health and oral hygiene habits. After careful evaluation of the health history, our dentists will inform of any conditions that may affect the dental treatment.
