Previdente offers several solutions in order to meet our patients’ expectations, among them are:

Microabrasion of enamel to remove white spots

Composite Resin Restorations

Composite resin restorations are tooth-colored plastic and glass mixture used to restore teeth performed by the dentist being a solution often used for restoring teeth that have the most diverse injuries – fractures, cavities, reduced spacing, among others. Dentists can blend shades to create a color nearly identical to that of the actual tooth. Composites bond to the tooth to support the remaining tooth structure.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin pieces of porcelain used to recreate the natural look of teeth, while also providing strength and resilience comparable to natural tooth enamel. Porcelain veneers are a very effective option in many situations where the original tooth has developed poor color, shape, and contours. It is also a good choice for gaps between teeth, fractured teeth, and in some situations where the tooth position is compromised and there are minor bite-related problems.

Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain crowns are an excellent choice when recreating the form and function of a damaged tooth, because a crown basically replaces the entire external portion of the tooth down to the gum level.Crowns are not limited to simply replacing the original tooth, but can be designed to create an even better esthetic appearance. Dental crowns can be made of ceramics both internally and externally (full ceramic) or may have their inner metal and outside ceramic (ceramic metal crown). The main difference between the two is the price, as the aesthetic level of the metal-ceramic crowns are not compromised since the metal part is not visible.

Inlays and onlays

Regarding inlays and onlays, these are indirect restorations that can be used to help an otherwise healthy tooth with a large filling. Inlays are placed within the grooves between the cusps (points) of a tooth, while onlays are placed within the grooves and over the cusp tips. Besides improving a tooth’s appearance, inlays and onlays can strengthen the structure of a tooth because of their longevity and durability.
