In order to keep your teeth and gums healthy you should floss daily, at least once a day. However, should you floss before or after brushing?
In fact, when you floss first, you can brush away any leftover dislodged food debris from your teeth. Brushing afterward will eliminate this debris. In addition, the toothpaste (with fluoride) will enter more easily between the teeth, protecting this surface from cavities as well.
But whether you floss before or after brushing it’s important that flossing is part of your daily routine.
